Over the course of his tennis career, Dan inspired thousands to learn and play tennis and the world is better because of him. We lost Dan in 2008 to cancer but his spirit and legacy live on. After his passing, we constantly saw butterflies at tennis tournaments or gatherings and we just knew it had to be a sign.
While Dan never saw beach tennis we all know he would have not only loved it but would have become heavily involved and certainly would be here with us growing the sport today.
